I was invited to their soft opening and went last night with a few friends. It's a new late night spot with small bites and drinks. Customer service was on point! Ron does an amazing job catering to clientele and providing great hospitality. He is truly interested in making sure customers are happy and open to ideas for any improvements! Drinks were good and strong. We had the Japanese old fashioned and lychee martini. Best part was it was buy one get one free! My favorite food was the wagyu and blue crab hand roll. It was a cool concept, they did a "reverse" hand roll and I especially loved that part because the nori was nice and crispy. Very innovative! Can't wait to return and try more of the menu items. They are going to incorporate bar food in the future and can't wait to see how it comes along. Also, they had good music selection!!!!
I've been a customer of Phans for years and heard that they were extending their hours on Fri & Saturdays as Red Lantern Bar. Checked it out on their soft opening night and the whole restaurant was busy with a totally different vibe and menu. Servers and bartenders are dressed in sexy asian garbs, drinks flowing through the bar, and limited handroll menu with higher end ingredients. Would definitely come back to pregame before an event.
Tried the Sunomono Salad and tempura hand roll. Both were amazing. The food came out quickly and the service was amazing.
This has become the new spot for me on the weekends! The design is incredible, the drinks are fantastic, and the staff is amazing!
Went for drinks and sushi with a bunch of friends and had so much fun! Great atmosphere and super attentive service, we tried a variety of drinks: cafe su daddy lol, guava lycheetini, a gin drink and an old fashion and they were all super tasty! Tried 4 hand rolls all were super bomb, we enjoyed our night and can't wait to come back! Julia, Ron, Shingo and Anna were all super cool, you will definitely be well taken care of if they're there!
I have lived in this neighborhood for 16 years. Red Lantern is the first business to come along and cater to a diverse crowd that includes everyone, here in the neighborhood, and neighbors from the surrounding areas. I am tired of being told I can only have good food and libations until 8:30PM. Otherwise have fun with your Del Taco order! Red Lantern offers good food, libations and ambiance until midnight. Come check it out. It does not disappoint!
Awesome pop up. Amazing hospitality from staff. Ambiance was really cool they had classic kung fu movies playing on the wall, great date night spot. Food and drink was delicious and the best part of the night for sure .
